With new technology to top-quality products
With the help of a grant in the amount of about 58,000 KM, which was granted to them in the framework of the first public invitation, they procured equipment for top finishing and sorting of goods, while their own participation for the realization of this project amounted to 300,000 KM.
“We are very grateful to the Swedish Government for helping us to acquire state-of-the-art equipment that will not only improve production and processing but also hire new workers. In this way, we have additionally stimulated employment in primary production, as well as raising new plantations, which benefit the wider community, ”the company said.
Otherwise, this company annually buys and processes about 1000 tons of said fruit with its own capacity. The company employs 30 to 40 workers, mostly women, during the harvest and purchase of fruit and planting fruit. They also cooperate with 500 to 600 subcontractors, from whom they buy all the quantities of berries produced and make regular payments.
Since its establishment, the company has been exporting all purchased and processed quantities of fruit to the foreign market, mostly Switzerland and the European Union and a small part of Turkey. For many years they have Global Gap and HACCP certification and are continuously working to improve product quality by introducing new technologies and innovations in the commodity processing process. Thanks to the modern processing method, the chestnut and raspberry fruit on the production line are automatically processed, removing impurities - outer and inner shells, after which it is calibrated and frozen. With the help of modern optical sorting equipment, the goods are refined and marketed with top quality.
