Thanks to the equipment they procured with the support of the C2C fund, "Hercegovacka radionica" from Trebinje has managed to improve the quality of existing products, but also to create new ones.

"We started producing natural cosmetics in 2013, and in 2019 we registered the business and currently have about 40 different products. Thanks to the grant we received through the Challenge Fund, we procured machines for the production of much larger quantities of bases for cosmetics of better texture. Also, the machines have enabled us to create completely new products such as immortelle cream, pomegranate cream, calendula cream, lavender cream and various other products," they say in the "Hercegovacka radionica".

Thanks to the project, they hired a new worker as a sales manager, as well as many seasonal workers, which strengthened the economic position of women in this area.

The total value of the project was € 19,620.00, half of which was a grant from the C2C fund.

"Thanks to the new equipment, we are now more competitive on the domestic market, and we have also started exporting to Austria. The support of the C2C fund has greatly facilitated our business and encouraged our development," they emphasized in this company.

For the production of cosmetics, "Hercegovacka radionica" uses the highest quality herbs from the area of Herzegovina. The original recipe, the way of picking and drying and further processing of plants, without adding any artificial components, offer the market high quality products, and at the same time they started the production of organic food.
