They recycle waste to produce environmentally friendly concrete

"PGP-Graditelj" from Bijeljina is one of the few companies in BiH that uses construction waste for concrete production, which directly affects the reduction of pollution and environmental protection. With the help of a grant from the C2C fund, they procured a crusher that they use to recycle construction waste. The total value of this project was BAM 145,709.33, which was financed by the company with 59,73%, i.e., and the remaining 40.27% was provided by the C2C fund.

"By realizing this project, we have influenced the reduction of environmental pollution with construction waste. By setting up this plant, we have enabled less use of natural sources of aggregates, we are reducing the area of construction material landfills and emitting harmful gases during transport. After the installation of the equipment, the need to hire 2 workers arose, which is an additional effect of the realization of this project ", it was said in Graditelj.

The procurement of a plant for the production of concrete cubes from recycled material, which would be an ecological product, is also planned.

"In that way, we will expand our range of products and increase the number of employees, and at the same time have an additional positive impact on the environment." The support of the C2C fund was extremely important for us, but also for other small and medium enterprises, because it encourages the introduction of new innovative technologies and facilitates adaptation to the demands of the constantly changing market, "it was pointed out in this company.
