Thanks to the innovative application developed by the company "Satwork" from Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is also possible to use modern digital services to improve the city's public transport service.

In addition to the module for control and monitoring of public transport vehicles, the SatBUS™ application, thanks to modern ICT solutions, provides public transport users with additional information such as the position of public transport vehicles in real-time, time of arrival or delay of buses at a particular public transport station.

"This project significantly improves the quality of public transport, and greater efficiency enables savings that reduce the cost of functioning of such a system. Thanks to the project, there is a need to create at least three new job positions in our company, and the implementation of this smart solution opens the possibility of additional employment in local communities," they say in this company.

The importance of the project, whose value is EUR 76,579.00, was also recognized by the C2C fund, from which EUR 29,000 in grants were allocated.

"The support of a fund such as C2C for entrepreneurs in BiH is of great importance because it helps to realize some really good and useful entrepreneurial ideas that society and the market would be deprived of for at least some time. Also, very often already developed companies need financial support to improve their business and thus provide a safer position in the market, and thus a more secure future for the workers they employ," they point out in Satwork.

This company was founded in 2005 and since then, with the knowledge and advanced ideas of its team of engineers and programmers, it has been developing its own information system SatIRS™, following the needs and requirements of its clients.
