Production of healthy snacks starts in Brčko, a project of 170 thousand KM

Agriculture cooperative "Brka" Brčko signed a grant agreement with the Sarajevo Economic Region Development Agency SERDA and started the implementation of the project "Smart Healthy Snacks" worth 170 thousand KM.

Grant is part of the Challenge to Change project, which was established in Bosnia and Herzegovina thanks to the funds of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency - Sida / Embassy of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina.


On the occasion of the start of the project implementation, the Ambassador of Sweden to BiH, Anders Hagelberg, awarded the grant certificate to the representative of the cooperative.


By implementing this project, the cooperative will acquire the necessary equipment for rounding up the production of healthy snacks that will be placed this year on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the cooperative brand COOP.
With the construction of the COOP production plant, whose construction starts at the end of the month, the cooperative plans to hire six new workers and give priority to young people.


Director of the cooperative, Sakir Rahamn, thanked SERDA, the Swedish Development Agency of Sida and the Embassy of Sweden in BiH, who decided to support their project and to help them market new innovative products on the market.
