Innovative solutions to better health care
"There were no gynecological chair manufacturers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Medical workers use older, mostly mechanical, products from this category, which do not provide quality service, especially for people with disabilities and special needs. Products from foreign manufacturers are available on the market, at prices that are high for the standard and purchasing power in our country, so few have modern gynecological chairs. Thinking as a team that has been supporting healthcare for 20 years, we wondered how to make products from the mentioned category more accessible to our market. This is where the idea of producing a gynecological chair as our domestic product arose, which would be equivalent in quality to European ones, but more affordable. We have decided to compete with the biggest manufacturers in this field, and also be better and more innovative in something ", they say in this company.
Through the project, they hired the necessary professional staff, prepared the necessary technical documentation, procured programs and tools for designing and creating positions, implemented appropriate standards and promoted the product.
The total value of the project is 193.829,45 BAM, of which the C2C fund provided 58.574,77 BAM in grants, and the rest is the company's equity.
Thanks to the project, this company not only started production but also got the opportunity to export, and most importantly, it has improved the quality of health services in BiH.
"Thanks to the support of the C2C fund, we have managed to bring such a significant project to an end, especially in difficult epidemiological conditions, and open new opportunities for development and progress," they point out in Bawariamed.
