Innovative solutions for sales of the local products
The project has been developed from the idea to unite in one place information about the local products, and a desire for a marketing support of the small food producers from BH. The creators of the platform are brothers Nermin and Nedzad Nadarević who say they have serious plans for development of the business in the future.
"We currently have about 30 web shops through which 120 farmers offer more than 450 different products that people can purchase directly at their addresses through www.farmer.ba. Ajvar from Ustikolina, dried fruits and vegetables from Mostar, homemade pasta from Jajce, cranberry from Sanski Most, honey from Bijeljina or Gradiska and many other products are now two clicks away from anyone's plate in BH ", brothers Nadarevic said.
They added that by this project they would like to support the work of small producers, especially women. So far, 30 of them have been presented through this platform.
"Women producers are enabled to present their products, expand their circle of business associates and improve their production," Farmer points out. For them, support of the C2C Fund was an additional incentive for the development of business ideas.
"By this project we have established new business contacts, we’ve agreed cooperation with new business partners and made better position on BH market. Donors’ support additionally confirm that what we do makes sense. The situation in our country is quite difficult. Entrepreneurship is still developing, and we sincerely hope that many young people will decide to start their own business. Without it there is no strong economy," concluded Nermin and Nedzad Nadarević.
