Higher production, better quality and new employments

The textile company "Kismet" d.o.o. from Doboj Istok has been continuously making various garments since 1994, with exceptional flexibility and adaptability to the needs of the textile industry market. As much as 97% of the total production is for various customers from Germany, Austria and Italy. The main products of the company are men's fashion suits, Bavarian folk costumes / Dirndl / which are produced according to the lohn principle for different brands: Armani, Facis, New Gol, Deiser Trachten, Isar Trachten, Vogl Bekleidung, Angie Maier ... Since 2017 they have been working on the development and improvement of its own brand of men's suit Maestro Suits, which is made exclusively according to Italian sewing technology, from the finest woolen fabrics.

The company continuously invests in state-of-the-art machines, vending machines and finishing machines (ironing, industrial presses), and in 2012 they opened the TTC textile technology center, which specializes in tailoring using modern Gerber CAD / CAM technology. The desire to continue the trend of technological growth determined them to apply for grants from the C2C fund.

"Thanks to the support of the Challenge Fund, we have successfully realized the project of purchasing an innovative vending machine for making an outer pocket, as well as a vending machine for making moldings. We have solved the problem of performing complex operations that require precision that is achieved with the use of such automata. In this way, we have significantly improved and accelerated the production process, product quality and hired new workers. Higher production will also enable an increase in the personal income of employees ", they say in" Kismet ".

The total value of this project was EUR 94,353.00, of which the company provided 68.2%, and the C2C fund a maximum grant of EUR 30,000.

"The development of our company, after the purchase of this machine, is on an upward trajectory, since we have become more competitive on the market, we will satisfy the demanding needs of our customers, and improve the sales of our products. Also, by hiring 10 new workers, mostly women, we contribute to their economic empowerment. They will be further educated, trained and mastered new skills of machine management ", they point out in this company which currently employs 121 workers, of which 80% are women.

They add that the support of the Challenge Fund is of great importance for companies and entrepreneurs in BiH.
