Educational materials in a new suit
The realization of their project "Application of augmented reality technology in printed publications for children, people with special needs and other products" was supported by the Challenge Fund with a grant in the amount of 57,501.40 BAM. The total value of the project was 141,406.51 BAM.
“AR technology allows the display of books, textbooks and other similar products in the form of videos, holograms or 3D displays. It is available to users of all smart devices, it is easy to use and can be combined with classic media,” they explain in Grafičar.
They add that the realization of this project has increased the company's income, despite the covid crisis; three new workers have been hired, and further development of the project will create conditions for additional employment.
"The use of new technology creates conditions for engaging young people who have the necessary knowledge and skills for jobs in the field of graphic and web design, programming, audio, video and 3D animation. In that way, we will stimulate them to stay in BiH and live decently from their work. At the same time, our company creates preconditions for further progress,” they say in this company.
They add that the support of the C2C fund was important for the realization of their project, especially in the challenging time of the pandemic, which affected the business of all economic entities.
"Apart from direct financial assistance, companies that have applied for these funds, especially those that have successfully implemented their projects, have gained additional confidence to implement new ideas," said in Grafičar, a company with a 40-year tradition.
It is a family company that continuously invests in development, equipment and education; which currently has 23 employees working in a new modernly equipped plant for the production of quality graphic products. Although they are focused on the domestic market, by developing new products they are also preparing to enter foreign markets.
