Developed innovative hardware and software for smart installations

The C2C Fund supported the TEM Mandeks company as part of the second call for proposals for the development of innovative hardware and software for smart installations.

"Hardware solutions involve the development of enclosures and electronics, while software solutions entail the development of applications that control all devices within a smart installation. The solution is comprehensive, competitive, affordable and accessible to the wide scale of users. The smart installation consists of 7 modules: Smart House (it is possible to integrate the existing solutions of the security systems Fire detection, Burglary and Video surveillance), Smart Hotel, Parking, Greenhouse. These solutions are unique because they offer the integration of different solutions within one package and are fully developed and produced in BiH, ”say  in Mandeks company.

The value of one part of the project implemented with the support of the C2C Fund is EUR 80,000.00 with the participation of the C2C Fund amounting to 32.5% and the participation of the company to 67.5%.

"The realization of this project has greatly contributed to the development of our company. We have embraced new knowledge and skills, upgraded our scope of operations and expanded our business in a new direction. This project opens up new opportunities for us in existing markets but also an opportunity to enter new markets, " the company said.

They add that they have employed 13 new workers directly and indirectly through the project, 9 of whom are women and 6 are under 30. The core business of TEM Mandeks Ltd. is the production of electrical installation materials, plastic processing, metal processing as well as hardware and software development.

The company was founded in 1993 and currently, with affiliates, has 180 employees. It is an export-oriented manufacturing company that exports 70% of its annual production to the markets of Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.

Since its establishment, it has been a continuous development, which has been contributed by significant investments in the procurement and implementation of modern technologies in production, in the development of new products and production groups, and in the training and specialization of existing and new personnel. Since 2004 they have been certified ISO 9001 - quality management system, and since 2010 ISO 14001 - environmental protection system.

"We plan to continue in the same direction in the future, all with the aim of maintaining positive trends in terms of expansion and modernization of production capacities, constant growth of sales and profits, as well as conquering new export markets," the company said.
