ZT KOMERC" Ltd Prijedor is the only manufacturer of specialized "smart energy unit" containers for storage of electronic equipment and electricity generators used by big companies (General Electric) in remote locations and areas that require additional energy. Due to the exceptional quality of the products, foreign buyers were looking for new products that this company has developed with the support of the C2C fund.

"These are specialized ecological containers for the storage of waste from thermal power plants, wood and steel industries, textiles, etc., then transport containers for bulk cargo (sugar beet, sunflower...) and specialized safety, hermetically sealed containers in which biological and chemical waste is stored. Such containers must meet the highest safety and environmental standards and can withstand temperatures down to -40 degrees, and the final color is suitable for decontamination. They are used for the disposal and transport of low-medium radioactive waste, and biological-chemical waste of the pharmaceutical industry, which enables the protection of the population and the environment. Most of the produced containers go for export to a known buyer", it was said in this company and remind that the total value of this project is 130.238,79 KM, of which the grant amount was 56.992,49 KM, ie 43,76%. The rest is its own participation.

In addition to the 3 new products, thanks to the project, the company has improved the production of a specialized container for storing generators and electronic equipment, because the new equipment enables the production of biger and stronger profiles necessary for new larger versions of the existing product. Also, the realization of the project enabled the employment of 10 new employees, which increased the total number of employees to 21.

"There is a great need for these products in the pharmaceutical, metal, wood industries and agriculture. They are very durable and, the most importantly, they provide a high standard of protection of environment, people and animals, because they safely store dangerous substances," it was said in "ZT KOMERC" and add that without the support of the C2C fund, the development of new products would not be possible.

"Donor support, such as the C2C program, is extremely important for the development of real capacities of SME companies. Without the grant support, we wouldn’t be able to procure the most important equipment and tools in a short time and to start producing new products. Independent development based on our own resources is possible, but very slow because we are limited by high interest rates and demanding conditions of banks, which we often cannot provide," it was pointed out in this company.

This company from Prijedor was established on 2012. It is engaged in the production of metal structures, metal products for construction, tanks, reservoirs, building, installation of roof structures and specialized containers. The company has met the modern production standards. It is predominantly export-oriented.
