5th Call for Proposals for Innovative Business Ideas

Call has ended

The 750.000 EUR Challenge Fund grant is again available to businesses entities with innovative business ideas, products or services from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden.

For the potential users in the category of start-ups, registered for at least six months, the maximum grant amount of 10.000 EUR is envisaged, while users from the category of mature business entities up to 250 employees, who perform activities for more than two years, can count on support in a maximum amount of up to 30.000 EUR. Applicants must provide minimum own participation of 50% of the total value of the proposed project, whose realization can not last more than one year.

All applications received will be evaluated in accordance with the three basic criteria - innovation, feasibility and sustainability of business ideas and social benefits.

Applications to this call must be submitted electronically only on the website www.c2c.ba in accordance with the instructions in the Guidelines for Applicants. This document is an integral part of the Application Package that you can download HERE.

The project proposals may be submitted through 24 March 2020 until 16:00 hrs.

The Challenge Fund was established within the Challenge to Change project, financially supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), and implemented by the Sarajevo Economic Region Development Agency "SERDA" and the Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska (RARS) in four years. The partner in the project is the Ostergotland region, Eastern Sweden.

This is the last call for proposals planned within the project. Within the previous 4 calls for proposals from the Challenge Fund, 2.074 applicants submitted project proposals. So far, 110 grant beneficiaries have been contracted and the grant awarded is 2.500.866 EUR. The signing of a contracts with 38 other users is underway and will be awarded around 844.000 EUR in grants.
